Lantern Three is a consulting firm that solves problems at the intersection of people, process, and technology. We have delivered numerous successful projects, most start-to-finish, but in many cases have intervened in "failed" or "off-course" projects. Our work sparked a curiosity about how to bend the curve of project failures and improve outcomes. In pouring over the academic research, we found data to support what we observed: PMs with strong leadership skills correlate to successful projects, and those who lacked leadership skills correlate highly to "failed" projects.
We created PMOLeader to help Project Managers cultivate their leadership mastery, for the sake of delivering their promised scope on time and on budget.
What We Offer
PMOLeader offers a members only community of practice, the Project Management Leadership Community of Practice (PMLCOP), to foster leadership development. Certified Project Managers may be eligible to earn continuing education credit while joining a private learning community with other practitioners on the path of project management mastery.
PMOLeader also offers experiential classroom training on leadership competencies that build skills in communication, presence, resilience and accountability.
PMOLeader also offers one on one coaching services to support project managers as they develop into the leader they envision.
PMOLeader provides an approach to leadership that addresses the needs of project managers, focusing on their challenges and concerns. Our proven methodologies will challenge project managers to understand relationships, listen deeply to themselves and others, and develop generative skills to approach challenging projects in a practiced and balanced way.

John Eisenschmidt | PMP®, CSM, CSP, ICP-ACC, ACC, SISC
For more than 15 years, John has coached high performance teams through transformational projects inside of corporations, nonprofits, higher education, and the federal government. As a agile project manager, John has led numerous large and multi-year initiatives that include onsite and federated teams. He is a Project Management Institute (PMI)™ certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®, a ScrumAlliance Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) and Certified Scrum Professional® (CSP), an ICAgile Certified Professional Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC), and holds the VA IT Agency Commonwealth Project Management Qualification.
As a leadership coach, John believes that leadership is more than just a designation, and that leaders take responsibility for their own development. He works with individuals and teams to cultivate their authenticity, dignity, presence, and resilience, primarily using somatics (working through the body). He is a graduate of the CCL's Leadership Development Program, a Strozzi Institute certified Somatic Coach (SISC), and an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
John holds a B.S. in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from the George Mason University School of Business. He is an Adjunct at Georgetown University, where he teaches leadership in their Project Management certificate program.

Shawn Boockoff | MBA, ACC, CSM, SISC
Shawn has over 25 years of experience as a leader, executive coach, trainer, speaker, and consultant on leadership and organizational development moving individuals, teams and organizations to transformation and greater performance. He is especially adept at assessing and building higher performing individuals, teams and organizations in transition. As principal of Lantern Three, Shawn consults with clients, speaks to diverse groups, and writes. Shawn is instrumental in the development of Lantern Three's leadership models and methodologies on leadership, teamwork, and communication that integrate our foundational concepts of the body, and identity to produce change.
Shawn is a doctoral candidate in Organizational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University. He is certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) at the ACC level, and Strozzi Institute as a Somatic Coach (SISC). Shawn is also a ScrumAlliance certified ScrumMaster® (CSM). He is certified to administer various assessments and deliver workshops including Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator® personality assessment, Multi-Health Systems EQ-I 2.0/360 emotional intelligence and 360 degree assessments, Human Elements FIRO based Element B behavior assessment, and High Performing Systems Arsenal leadership stress assessment.
